UTEP Football will offer buy one get one free tickets for their game this weekend in El Paso.
The miners will face the Rice Owls Friday at Sun Bowl stadium. Attendance for home games have been low, averaging about 23,957 fans per game. Sun Bowl stadium has a capacity of 51,500 seats.
The team has won only three out of eight games so far this season.
Today officials said they will offer fans a buy one, get one free special in place for Friday’s game against Rice. Ticket prices start at just $10 and can be purchased at the UTEP Ticket Center, 2901 N. Mesa.
