El Paso’s first ever boxing world champion, Jennifer Han, is set to take the ring again in April.
This time, Han (13-3-1) will be defending her first ever World Featherweight title. She will face Liliana Martinez (20-15-0) of the Dominican Republic on Friday, April 29 at Southwest University Park in downtown El Paso. Han captured the crown and became El Paso’s first ever boxing world champion last September with a convincing win over Helen Joseph.
